Ever since its inception in 1998, we have had a vision to create innovative and cost-saving solutions and systems for both large and small businesses in a variety of industries.
Our broad knowledge of the design and manufacture of plastic products has given us a unique expertise that benefits our customers. Our experienced employees know what it takes to further develop and take a well-designed product from the concept stage, via a prototype, to serial production. At the same time, we take social responsibility and the environment seriously, and we strive constantly to develop environmentally friendly solutions that ensure that non-toxic or harmful materials end up in the nature.
Our story starts more than 20 years back in time, more specifically in 1998. We had a desire to develop and mass produce next-generation packaging systems for radioactive materials, based on an idea from the Department of Energy Technology (IFE). For the first 15 years we were known under the name Nuclear Protection Products AS. In 2017, this part of the business was separated as an independent company, under the same name. At the end of 2014 we acquired the company Grepi Plast, which among other things has helped develop a special barrel for the transport and storage of various types of waste, both liquid and dry goods. In order to further strengthen our position in the market, we have also entered the ownership side of the Porsgrunns-based company Pavels Innovation AS,which contributes everything from industrial design to product development.
Today we are a company of strong growth and run our own additive production and injection molding. We also have good production partners in both Europe and Asia, ensuring that we can create environmentally friendly and cost-saving solutions tailored to our customers. In addition to developing our own products, we offer innovation and production services to customers in a variety of industries.
The plan further for Mezonic is clear: we will continue to develop and serially produce products that serve society in the best possible way – both by being cost-saving for the customer and environmentally friendly.
Grepi Plast develops, designs and manufactures injection-molded plastic products. They specialize in material technology, the development of form tools and injection molding of plastic.
Pavels Innovation develops and designs plastic products. Some of their areas of expertise are industrial design, engineering and product development, visualization using modern 3D technology, and the production of prototypes and models.
Mezonic Recycling Solution offers waste containers to the industry. The CC Container is designed for storing and transporting everything from food waste to hazardous waste. The CC container is developed with people, the environment and the climate in mind.
Wow Gear, in collaboration with Mezonic, Grepi Plast and Pavels Innovation, has developed drinking bottles focusing on a better and more user-friendly drinking method. The unique drinking bottles are developed for both children and adults, for everyday life and for exercise.
Since 1996, ProtoFab has offered fast prototypes to the growing industrial design market in China. Today they are an international company, which has 3D printers on the market in several different countries.
