Since 1996, ProtoFab has offered fast prototypes to the growing industrial design market in China. Today they are an international company, which has its 3D printers on the market in several different countries. They offer training to their customers in how to take advantage of ProtoFab 3D printers. In addition, they take on assignments where they make prototypes for their customers. ProtoFab belongs to the Group Duch Group, which is one of the world's leading manufacturers of custom prototypes and on-demand production services.
Mezonic AS is co-owners of ProtoFab AS and represents ProtoFab in Norway. At our plant in Porsgrunn we have several 3D printers and have experts assisting our customers in the production of prototypes.
SLA 3D Printer
Stereolithography, also known as SLA for short, is an additive manufacturing process, it is the veteran of 3D printing technologies. It is one of the most commonly used fast prototyping technologies for plastic models.
SLM 3D Printer
Selective laser melting (SLM) is a special fast prototyping, 3D printing or additive production (AM) technique designed to use a high density laser to melt and melt metallic powder together.
SLS 3D Printer
Selective laser insuscitation (SLS) is an additive production (AM) technique that uses a laser as a power source to infect powder-shaped material (usually nylon/polyamide), as laser automatically targets points in the room defined by a 3D model, binding material together to create a solid structure.
ProtoFab has extensive experience in 3D printing and creating prototypes with different methods and materials.
