We have Norway's largest capacity for SLA-printing

We assist you with 3D printing

Do you have an idea you want to test out? Do you want to produce a prototype or a small product line? We offer 3D printing services to industrial companies and entrepreneurs.

3D printing has revolutionized countless industries and solved previously unthinkable levels of geometry and adaptations. Using 3D printing, one is able to produce complex parts that are literally impossible through traditional methods. The additive process makes it possible to produce parts with the absolute minimum of waste. The rapid nature and efficiency of the technique makes it ideal for modern industry and projects that cannot afford to wait and that earn large sums on the efficiency of their processes.

Versatile manufacturing technique

3D printing is one of the most versatile manufacturing techniques available in today's market and can be used in almost any industry. Our expert team in 3D printing is ProtoFab. In collaboration with them 3D printer for companies in everything from automotive industry, medicine technical, dentistry, art, fashion, electronics, industrial design, component manufacturing to footwear.

In each of these segments, new manufacturing techniques lead to revolutionary improvements in efficiency, cost reduction, convenience and also open the door to brand new thought paths and production methods in industrial design and product development.

When do we use the 3D printing method?

  • When a part or product has a very complex in shape, such as lattice structures or where internal detailing is required.
  • 3D printing is especially suitable for fast production, of prototypes for plastic components either for use directly, or for verifying design. Often, a 3D printer can produce a ready-made complex product without the need for further assembly.
  • This method is also useful for small serial productions, or single component production for custom needs and solutions where the component can be advanced or have a complex geometry, such as only one or two prototypes, as there are tool costs and do not need to be produced a form.

The process of 3D printing

How does this process take place? First, a detailed CAD file is created that is imported into the 3D printer's software. This software analyzes the CAD drawing and divides it down into ultra-thin cross-sectional layers. An engineer will analyze the object to be printed and determine where the part needs support structure to be printed so that the structure can remain stable. This additional material is removed later after the print process itself. The print heads are laser-guided and gradually build up the object by working along the thin cross sections generated by the software. A wide range of materials are available, and on the material front, supply is constantly increasing as technology becomes more advanced.
