Grepi Plast came up with the idea of creating a manifold cabinet in plastic, to better meet the new corrosion safety and drainage capacity requirements. They presented a draft of a plastic manifold cabinet to Armaturjonsson, one of the leading Norwegian companies in water systems and installation materials to plumbers. Armaturjonsson was interested in a plastic manifold cabinet, as the cabinet would have a lower self-weight that makes it easier to use and carry. In addition, it would be able to meet the new requirements of the industry. When using plastic as a material, you will easily meet the corrosion safety requirement as plastic does not corrode. Furthermore, an inclination was made at the bottom, and a larger 40 mm drain to meet the requirement for drainage capacity.
