How long does the CC Container last?

It has a life span of 5 years in corrosive environments related to the use of the container for the toughest chemicals. For such use, the UN certification for the transport of the chemicals is provided for 5 years at a time. For other purposes, it has much longer use time, e.g. when storing water in the garage has the almost perpetual durability.

Is cc container suitable for food stuffs, such as food and water?

Yes, the container is approved to hold drinking water and food for people. Use for drinking water must be specified at purchase, as there are different gaskets for the lid.

Can solvents be in the CC Container?

Yes, the container can hold up to 5 years of corrosive agents.

Is the CC Container airtight?

No, not 100%.

What kind of certification does the CC Container have?

The container meets the UN certification criteria for Packaging Group III – high danger – for solid material, and certification criteria for Packaging Group II – medium hazard – for liquid substances.


It is also certified for drinking water.

Do cleaned (reconditioned) containers need to be retested?

This depends on which country you live in. In Norway there are no fixed rules on it.

Where do the raw materials come from?

The raw materials come from the company LyondellBasell. They are one of the world's largest producers of plastic

Why is the CC Container environmentally friendly?

Lighter, requiring less CO2 in production, requires less space during transport when it is empty.

Can the CC Container be adapted to your business needs?

Yes. CC The container can be ordered in different colors (green, white, gray, red and yellow). It can be ordered with the additional products sieve, large and small lid, fattralle and overpressure valve.

Is mineral oil dangerous?

Category III means they are not referred to by the ADR Directive for Transport.

Is vegetable oil dangerous goods?

No, they fall into Category 3 (Packaging Certification X) and are not covered by the ADR Transport Directive.

What is the ADR Directive?

Covers the transport of dangerous goods (category 1 and 2) on public roads.

Why is the CC Container suitable for waste oil?

CC The container can be emptied by suction truck through the small lid, or the entire container can be taken to the recycling plant.

What is the CC Container suitable for?

With 5 mm thick walls and unique durability, the CC container is particularly suitable for storage and distribution.

Why do you need to specify that the container should be used for drinking water? Should you and do it for food?

That's because the usual sealing list in the lid is not approved for drinking water. When ordering the one approved for drinking water, only the one you get, not the other.
You do not need to specify this for food, as food will not come to the sealing list. If the food contains a lot of liquid, it may be smart to order the sealing list for drinking water to be on the safe side.

Why is the CC Container suitable for use at the cabin?

CC The container can store well water before entering the housing. This causes the water to become more distributed, the pump has to work less, and one has more even with water.
